5.0 out of 5 starsEverybody thinks this thing is awesome, including me.

I've reviewed ML products before, and this one is just as good as I've grown to expect. EVERYBODY looks when I ride my bicycle at night. I get a lot of car horns and waves. I get almost too much attention if I ride in a public place. In fact, these things look so cool that it's difficult to focus my attention on the road sometimes.

As an electrical engineer with most of my experience in quality assurance, I give these guys perfect marks for their construction. The product is durable, water-resistant, and very very cool. There are no "extra parts," no "weak points," and no gimmicky features that jack the price up. I know exactly how this product works; I even have all of the parts needed to assemble my own right on my home workbench.. but doing so would take me a whole weekend and cost more than simply buying one, and it still wouldn't be as well-made.

I've also complimented them by email, and they are very friendly communicative people; so on the rare occasion that you actually have a problem, I have no doubt that they'd work with you to sort it out.

5.0 out of 5 starsDrivers might run into each other while admiring your lights but at least they won't hit YOU!

After being t-boned by a motorist (at intersection of School St which is so-named because of the elementary school less than a block away)...while in a crosswalk with walk signal...after stopping before crossing...with lights front and back and me being a giant red-head...I decided there was only one thing I could do to make myself more visible and that was to add some sort of spoke lights to be seen more easily from the side. I was happy enough with results from the little ones that I got at first but noticed these lights when doing my shopping and came back when I got some birthday money. These provide more visibility than the other lights I had and adds a nice WOW! factor. The whole thing is not too heavy, although it will throw off the balance of your wheel a little bit. I have taken it out in light-moderate rain and splashed through a few puddles and streams with no problems, as well as normal stress from being on an MTB ridden by a crazy giant who likes to attack stairs and hop off any ledge I can find. Pros: Extreme visibility, easy install, a snap to replace the batteries and battery life is very reasonable, waterproof as advertised, seems like a solid design, not too heavy. Cons: as mentioned it threw off-balance of wheels slightly, but not enough to make any noticeable difference in speed and feel when riding, so I haven't found any REAL cons yet =)
